A remarkable partnership
Valentine restaurants in Quebec are proud to partner with Food Banks of Quebec to help families in need.
Once a year, for an entire week, a portion of steam hot dog sales will be donated to the various local food banks where Valentine is present.
Why in the middle of July? Quite simply, historically, the hottest week of the year is in mid-July, hence the name “steam week”. What a great time to take advantage and eat a famous steamed hot dog and help your community !
Whether you buy a best-selling trio, our three-star trio, or an à la carte steamed hot dog, you will help families in your area.
In addition, Valentine will double the amount accumulated by its franchisees during this week.

Questions ?
To participate, all you have to do is go to a participating Valentine restaurant and purchase one or more steamed hot dogs, which you can garnish to your liking. A portion of sales will be donated to a local food bank.
Whether included in one of our trios with fries or poutine or à la carte, it is the overall sales of steamed hot dogs that are counted for donations.
If you want to make a monetary donation, we suggest you go directly to a food bank in your area. Unfortunately, we cannot accept monetary donations. 1 steamed hot dog = 1 donation
Our association with the Banques Alimentaires du Québec (BAQ) will allow us to remit all of the amounts collected to the various local organizations through their well-established network. This approach guarantees a distribution adapted to the needs of each community to ensure real impact. By purchasing a steamed hot dog during Steam Week, you help us make a difference.
