Services offered to franchisees
Complete training
Proper preparation and training are critical to the success of each and all, and are aspects upon which Valentine does not compromise.
Once you have been selected by the committee as a candidate, you must complete a two-week training program at a training center.
During these two weeks, you will learn about the norms and standards of Valentine and will be given the right tools to succeed with your new Valentine franchise.
Goods preparation, bookkeeping, management of human resources and operations, to name a few, are aspects that will be covered during this training. Thus, Valentine offers you the necessary support to open your franchise, at the initial stage.
Operational support
The operations team is made of a group of employees who have had vast experiences within the restaurant industry. Knowledgeable in their field, each member of the team is competent to provide you with continuous support, from the inauguration to current operations. They will advise and inform you on the management of human resources, administration, or any other element that you need to know in order to develop your Valentine expertise.
Marketing
The Valentine marketing team offers continuous support, with respect to publicity and promotional material, to each franchisee. A publicity committee composed of franchisees and board members meet regularly to define the marketing targets and orientation of the chain.
Furthermore, due to a standardized national promotional structure, every franchise enjoys uniformed visibility. Thus, the franchisee optimally benefits from the advertising sponsorship and the association with Groupe Valentine – with both, Groupe and the franchisee, having the common goal of increasing sales and protecting the image of the chain.
Accounting
The Valentine finance & accounting team includes qualified personnel who will assist franchisees in the accounting procedures of their restaurant. During the two-week training, new franchisees will learn about complete bookkeeping and preparation of different financial reports.
Afterwards, a follow-up will take place in order to ensure that franchisees have well understood the accounting operations and are autonomous.
Furthermore, upon sending in financial information about their restaurant, franchisees will periodically receive reports that will help them evaluate the performances of their establishment and help them make adjustments that will foster maximum results.
Distribution center
The Valentine distribution center ensures the delivery of diverse merchandises to all members of the network. The distribution center holds more than 300 products in inventory, which includes food products, packaging, promotional materials, equipment, and much more.
Valentine has a strong buying power due to its size and prominence in Quebec, and can therefore benefit from the lowest prices the market has to offer.
